Frequently asked questions

Know what to
expect.

Every project is different. These answers explain the standard Redline process; final details are confirmed before training is scheduled.

What equipment can Redline certify or recertify?+

Authorized categories include boom lifts, scissor lifts, counterbalance forklifts, rough-terrain forklifts, skid-steer loaders, front-end loaders, backhoe loaders, and excavators.

Is training available at our jobsite or facility?+

Onsite training may be available based on location, equipment access, site conditions, participant count, and scheduling. These requirements are reviewed before the training plan is confirmed.

How long does a course take?+

Course duration depends on the equipment or subject, participant experience, class size, site conditions, and the practical-evaluation requirements. Redline confirms the expected timeframe during scheduling.

What is the difference between certification and recertification?+

Initial certification is intended for operators completing the applicable training and evaluation process for the first time. Recertification or refresher training addresses renewal needs, performance concerns, changed conditions, or other applicable requirements.

Who provides the equipment and training area?+

Equipment, inspection status, operating area, and site controls are confirmed before scheduling. Client-provided equipment and facilities must be suitable and available for the planned instruction and evaluation unless another arrangement is agreed upon.

How many employees can attend?+

Group size is matched to the course, equipment availability, practical-evaluation needs, and the ability to deliver effective instruction. Include the expected participant count in your request for a suitable plan.

What documentation is provided?+

Applicable completion and qualification documentation is prepared following training and evaluation. Exact records depend on the course, equipment category, participant results, and client requirements.
